Challenge: The customer was facing accuracy and efficiency issues in its production processes due to inconsistent measurements, outdated equipment and incompatibility of the material used as the primary element in the flow meters.

Solution:We implemented a comprehensive metrology and instrumentation solution, including the calibration and updating of the flow meters with primary elements compatible with the working gas of the compressor station.

Result: Measurement accuracy was significantly improved, the error calculated for the flow rate due to the failure of the temperature loop was +0.2%, that is, 4 million m³ more per year was unnecessarily paid by the client. We mitigated possible systematic errors, validated the calculation of measurement uncertainty and adapted real-time monitoring of the processes, providing greater control and operational efficiency.
